Automated Company Greetings / Voice Mail
You call Sears. You get the machine and it talks and talks and scolds you when you try to answer. I have figured out why a company would want such a system.
By the time you get a REAL person the relief is over whelming !!!!
It's exactly like finding an oasis in the desert.
But then you listen to their 'canned' responses....
and suddenly you realize that the oasis was just another mirage.
After writing all that condescending script the director was promoted to CEO and given his choice of 5 free neck ties. (believe me it was more than he deserved)
Just because it sounds like they're talking doesn't mean you're in a conservation.
